Fall OPMAD Programs for Grades 4 and 5 

   Limited to 25 students

“What’s Cool After-School?”

The OPMAD after-school program will be starting the FALL SESSION on 8/25/08 thru 12/22/08.  There is a $35.00 membership fee per child and $25.00 for each additional sibling, (check, money order or cash!) per session.  Financial aid is available.  Program hours are from 2:50 pm- 6:00 pm.   Snacks will be provided.  If a parent volunteers in the program, their child has first priority in the program.  If your child is accepted in the program, you will receive a Blue Confirmation Form.  If Classes are full your child will be put on a waiting list and you will receive a pink waiting list form.

MONDAYS thru THURSDAYS

2:50-3:20

Snack time & bathroom break.  Snacks will be provided.

3:20-4:30

Homework Club- We provide students with a quiet atmosphere and materials needed to complete their homework, however this is not one on one tutoring so please continue to check your child’s work.

4:30-5:00

Fun with Science! - Monday & Wednesday students will participate in a fun-filled activity/project that will involve science.

Math All-stars- Tuesday & Thursday students will participate in a fun-filled math game or activity that will enhance their math skills.

Pick up time.  If you would like to pick your child up at 5:00 instead of 6:00 please be sure to check off the appropriate time on the permission slip.

Recreation time! - Students will have the opportunity to do various arts and crafts or enjoy a physical activity.

Dismissal! -  The OPMAD policy/procedure for late pick-up’s is as follows:  Every child MUST be signed out by the person picking them up.  OPMAD will ONLY release a child to the persons specified on their permission slip. A $5.00 late fee will be issued for every 10 minutes that a parent/guardian is late.  If your child has 3 late pick-up’s they will be removed from the program. 

FRIDAYS

Snack time & bathroom break.  Snacks will be provided.

3:20-6:00

Fun Friday!  Students will participate in various fun activities/games and /or watch a movie.
